The police in Bawku have reportedly shot and killed one person, with two others, including a schoolboy, sustaining injuries.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 9, around the Ghandi City area, a suburb of Bawku.
Youth from one of the factions allegedly attempted to prevent the other faction from patronizing their market, leading to a clash with the police.
Some houses were also burnt down in retaliation for the police’s actions.
The situation is currently escalating in the area.
