World Vision Ghana has been named as the runner-up of the Not-for-Profit/Public Sector Campaign of the Year at the 2025 African Marketing Confederation (AMC) Awards Night in Accra.

The awards formed part of the Joint Annual Conferences of the African Marketing Confederation (AMC) and the Technology Information Confederation Africa (TICON Africa), held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Organisers say the recognition highlights World Vision’s impactful work in advancing social change through innovative marketing strategies.

This year’s awards brought together top professionals in marketing and ICT from across the continent to celebrate excellence and discuss the future of the two sectors.

Each category had several stringent requirements for nominations to be considered, which included using ICT innovation to benefit their communities, among other aspects.

AMC and TICON Africa are pan-African bodies committed to promoting professional marketing and ICT development across Africa by 2030. Ghana’s Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMG) and the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH) jointly hosted the 2025 conference.

The event marked a high point of the week-long gathering, with winners across various categories honoured for their outstanding contributions.
