AgriFair Day 3: Final day promises bigger crowds, bigger deals, bigger impact

Day Three of AgriFair 2025 opens today with heightened anticipation as farmers, shoppers, agripreneurs, and families prepare to flood the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park for the final and biggest day of this year’s celebration of Ghana’s agricultural excellence.

After two days of impressive crowds, vibrant displays of fresh produce, and hands-on Agric Clinics that equipped hundreds with new farming skills, today’s finale is expected to deliver even more excitement, more deals, and stronger networking opportunities for market actors across the agricultural value chain.

Organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM, AgriFair has reaffirmed its position as a national platform for connecting farmers to consumers, stimulating agro-innovation, and deepening support for homegrown foods. The fair has also become a symbol of the country’s broader push to strengthen domestic production, reduce import dependence, and empower rural communities.

With renewed calls from Presidential Advisor on the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programmes, Mr. Augustus Goosie Tanoh, for private sector collaboration—especially around the “Made-in-Ghana Gifting” initiative—today’s activities are expected to spark even greater interest in local goods and value addition.

From fresh vegetables, grains, poultry, fish, and fruits, to live demonstrations on fish farming, piggery, snail farming, and poultry production, AgriFair’s final day offers something for everyone: shoppers seeking fresh bargains, farmers pursuing new knowledge, and agribusinesses looking to expand their markets.

As exhibitors gear up for strong final-day sales and visitors troop in for last-minute purchases and training, AgriFair 2025 is set to crown its closing day with the same energy, community spirit, and commitment to Ghana’s agricultural future that have defined the past two days.

Gates open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., free for all.
