Former Head Pastor of the United Prisons Fellowship and ex-convict, Evangelist Richard Nyarko, has confirmed that Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, the former fetish priestess turned evangelist, is actively preaching at Nsawam Prison, displaying a modest demeanor.
Nyarko told Channel One TV’s Upside Down on Sunday, December 7, that he saw Agradaa on Sunday, November 30, and noted that she appears to be doing well.
He stressed that his remarks were not intended to call for government intervention, but simply to acknowledge her ongoing ministry at the prison.
According to Nyarko, his previous encounters with Agradaa also involved witnessing her preaching to inmates, highlighting her continued engagement in religious work despite her legal challenges.
“I saw Agradaa last Sunday and she is doing well. We are not campaigning for the government to do anything for her now, but we believe the Lord who allowed her to be there will, in His own time, grant her freedom. The last time I went to the prison, I saw Agradaa preaching,” he noted.
Meanwhile, Nana Agradaa is contesting her conviction and 15-year jail sentence, arguing that the trial process was unfair.
She maintains that the evidence did not support the verdict handed down on July 3, 2025, for charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence, describing the sentence as excessive.
