The Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly has called on residents to stay vigilant, especially regarding individuals riding in pairs on motorbikes, and to report any suspicious activity to the police.
The warning follows a police operation in Dzorwulu that led to the arrest of 14 suspects linked to stolen items.
According to a statement issued on February 7, the operation, carried out by a police patrol team on January 14, initially resulted in the arrest of two suspects, with 12 others apprehended later. All are assisting police with ongoing investigations.
The Assembly commended Assembly Member Sydney Kabo and the Kotobabi District Police Command for their swift response and reassured residents that measures are in place to maintain safety and security in the area.
