President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to undertake a five-day working visit to South Korea from March 10 to March 14, as part of efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The Government Communications Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, confirmed in a statement issued on Sunday, March 8, that President Mahama will depart Accra on Sunday, March 08 to commence the trip.
During his visit, the President is scheduled to hold high-level talks with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, focusing on strengthening diplomatic relations and expanding economic collaboration.
He will also meet Woo Won-shik, Speaker of the National Assembly, to discuss parliamentary cooperation.
The itinerary includes a visit to Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard for a ship-naming ceremony and a keynote address at Yonsei University’s conferment ceremony.
In addition to official engagements, President Mahama will meet with members of the Ghanaian community in South Korea and hold a dinner meeting with business executives to explore opportunities for trade and investment between the two countries
