Motorists travelling from the Motorway Roundabout towards the Valco Roundabout in Tema are being urged to use alternative routes following a tanker accident that has caused traffic disruption in the area.
The incident involves a tanker with registration number GN 4978-12, which overturned at the Valco Roundabout.

Officers from the Ghana National Fire Service are currently on the scene working to contain and manage a spill of naphthalene condensate from the vehicle.
Authorities say the situation is being handled with caution to ensure public safety, as the chemical spill poses potential hazards.
Traffic flow in the area has been affected, leading to delays for commuters using the stretch.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible and follow directives from emergency personnel while cleanup and safety operations continue.
