A lighthearted culinary contest brought top managers of Channel One TV and Citi FM into the spotlight as they battled it out in an ‘angwamo’ (oil rice) cooking competition.
The friendly showdown featured Managing Director Samuel Attah-Mensah, popularly known as Sammens, alongside General Manager Bernard Avle (Aloski) and Business Development Manager Omane Mensah Bonsu, also popularly known as Chairman Omane.
The trio swapped their corporate roles for cooking utensils as they competed to prepare the popular Ghanaian dish, drawing excitement and laughter from colleagues.
Though lightly competitive, the trio seized the moment to drum home the need for the public to turn towards patronizing rice made in Ghana.
The initiative forms part of efforts to celebrate Ghana’s heritage and culture through food.
