Lady Julia Osei Tutu, wife of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has urged children to remain disciplined, obey their teachers, and prioritise their education as a pathway to a successful future.
She made the call during an Easter party she organised for selected orphanages at the Kumasi Children’s Park, where she emphasised the importance of academic excellence and character development.
According to her, children must take their studies seriously as they represent the future leadership of the country, while teachers must also remain committed to nurturing and guiding them.

“Obey your teachers. Also prioritise learning. You are our future leaders so learn hard to become successful people in future. We will also make sure to visit,” she said.
Lady Julia Osei Tutu also assured the children of her continued support, pledging to sustain the initiative and expand it in subsequent years to bring more children together to celebrate Easter.

“We are hopeful that next year we will do it bigger and better. I am glad you all are happy,” she added.
The event brought together children from various orphanages for a day of celebration, interaction and encouragement during the Easter festivities.
