QNET has highlighted its collaboration with Ghana’s Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) as a strong example of effective public-private partnership at the inaugural Global Fraud Summit 2026, organised by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and INTERPOL in Vienna.
The summit convened more than 1,300 global participants, including governments, law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, and private sector leaders, to strengthen coordinated action against fraud and organised financial crime.
At the summit, QNET endorsed the Global Public-Private Partnership Framework against Fraud, joining a select group of governments, international organisations, and private sector entities publicly recognised by UNODC for their commitment to collaborative action against fraud.
A key highlight of the summit was a high-level side event featuring Raymond Archer, Executive Director of EOCO, alongside Ramya Chandrasekaran, Chief Communications Officer of QI Group (parent company of QNET), Abdus Salaam, a trafficking survivor from Bangladesh currently serving as a Lived-Experience Research Consultant. The panel was moderated by Ilias Chatzis, the
Officer in Charge of Organised Crime division at UNODC.
The discussion spotlighted the QNET–EOCO Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a practical and impactful model of collaboration between law enforcement and the private sector in Ghana.
Through this partnership, EOCO and QNET have worked together to:
• Support investigations into criminal networks misusing the QNET brand
• Strengthen information sharing between stakeholders
• Raise awareness to protect citizens from fraud
“Our MoU with QNET demonstrates how collaboration between law enforcement and the private sector can deliver meaningful results in tackling fraud and protecting citizens. Such partnerships are essential in addressing the evolving nature of organised financial crime,” said Raymond Archer, Executive Director, EOCO.
“Ghana is an important example of how sustained engagement between law enforcement and the private sector can help address fraud more effectively. We are committed to continuing this collaboration with EOCO to protect communities and strengthen trust,” said Ramya Chandrasekaran, Chief Communications Officer, QI Group.
The session attracted strong participation from international law enforcement representatives, reflecting growing interest in Ghana’s approach as a replicable model for other jurisdictions.
QNET’s participation in the summit reinforces its ongoing commitment to working with Ghanaian authorities and global partners to combat fraud and protect consumers.
