The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has expressed personal commitment to following up on development projects in Chereponi to ensure the district receives increased attention in national development planning.
Addressing party faithfuls as part of his “Thank You” tour in the North East Region, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah assured that he would take a direct interest in monitoring development initiatives in the area to help improve implementation and outcomes.
He noted that Chereponi requires greater support through a larger share of national development resources in order to bridge development gaps and catch up with other constituencies.
According to him, the approach is necessary to promote more balanced development across the country.
“To follow up personally on your development projects because you are lagging behind and we don’t have time to waste in Chereponi here. We need to double our steps so we can catch up with the other districts before we begin sharing the other national cake equitably.
“But for now, we must fight for a bigger share to the Chereponi District so that you can come up and meet the rest of the constituencies,” he said.
