Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has extended warm wishes to the Muslim community as they mark Eid al-Adha, urging Ghanaians to use the occasion to strengthen unity, compassion and social bonds.
In a Facebook message, she said the celebration reflects key values such as faith, obedience, compassion and service to humanity.
“Today, I extend warm wishes to all our Muslim brothers and sisters for Eid al-Adha. This occasion reminds us about the importance of faith, obedience, compassion, and service to humanity,” she said.
She encouraged Ghanaians to use the festive season to deepen community ties and show kindness to vulnerable persons, while renewing commitment to national unity and mutual respect.
“I encourage all Ghanaians to use the season to strengthen the bonds of community, extend kindness to the vulnerable, and renew our commitment to national unity and mutual respect,” she noted.
The Vice President concluded her message by wishing Muslims a peaceful celebration.
“I wish the Muslim Ummah a blessed and peaceful Eid al-Adha. Eid Mubarak,” she added.
