Ghanaian traditional priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has claimed to have placed a new curse on British psychic Uri Gellar during a live interview on Piers Morgan and Simon Jordan’s World Cup Uncensored programme.
Speaking on the show on Friday, June 26, Kwaku Bonsam accused Gellar of challenging his spiritual powers after the British psychic reportedly vowed to cancel the alleged curse he had placed on England captain Harry Kane ahead of Ghana’s World Cup clash with England.
According to Kwaku Bonsam, he was displeased by Gellar’s comments and decided to respond by directing a new curse at him during the interview.
The traditional priest displayed a bottle which he claimed contained snakes and said he had spiritually placed Gellar inside it.
“There is a man in the UK who said he is powerful and that he cancelled what I did to Harry Kane. I have put him in this bottle,” Kwaku Bonsam declared during the interview.
He insisted that he wanted the world to see the extent of his powers and challenged anyone who doubted his abilities.
Kwaku Bonsam further claimed that Gellar had underestimated him by suggesting he could reverse the alleged curse placed on Kane.
The exchange came after the Ghanaian traditional priest discussed his decision to lift the alleged curse on the England striker, whom he described as someone he admires and respects.
Kwaku Bonsam gained international attention after claiming responsibility for Harry Kane’s failure to score in England’s goalless draw against Ghana at the World Cup. The claim generated widespread debate, with supporters and critics divided over whether the striker’s performance had anything to do with spiritual influences.
During the latest interview, attention shifted from Kane to Uri Gellar as Kwaku Bonsam used the platform to issue a fresh spiritual challenge to the British psychic.
The comments have since attracted reactions on social media, with many football fans and viewers discussing the unusual exchange between the two men.
