27th TGMA nominees to be unveiled March 14

Organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have announced that the nominees for the 27th edition of the prestigious awards scheme will be unveiled on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

The nominations will be unveiled in a special broadcast across the Ghana Music Awards digital platforms.

The nominees’ announcement will take place in segments throughout the day, running hourly from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., allowing music fans and industry stakeholders to follow the unveiling of various categories as they are announced.

The main nominees’ announcement show is scheduled for 8:00 p.m., where highlights of the earlier reveals and additional details about the awards season are expected to be shared.

Fans who are unable to watch on television will also be able to follow the event through live streaming on the Ghana Music Awards Facebook page and the CharterHouse Live YouTube channel.

The Telecel Ghana Music Awards remains the biggest and most anticipated music awards event in the country, celebrating outstanding achievements in Ghanaian music across multiple genres.

The annual awards scheme, organised by Charterhouse, recognises artistes, producers, songwriters and industry professionals whose work has significantly impacted the Ghanaian music industry over the eligibility year.
