A section of scaffolding at Ridge Hospital has collapsed onto several parked vehicles after heavy rain and strong winds swept through parts of Accra on the afternoon of Sunday, April 26.
Videos from the scene show debris from an ongoing renovation project strewn across multiple cars, some of which appear to have sustained significant damage.
The affected area has since been cordoned off as authorities assess the extent of the damage and work to secure the site.
It remains unclear whether any injuries were recorded in the incident.
Efforts by Citi News to get a response from hospital management have so far been unsuccessful.
