Technical Advisor to the Minister of Interior, Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, is expected to speak at the 16th Commonwealth Regional Conference of Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Africa, taking place in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The conference, which began on May 4, 2026, is scheduled to end on May 8, 2026.
COP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, a former Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (Economic and Organised Crime Office), will address participants on the theme: “The Role of Women Leaders in Promoting Integrity in Public Life in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.”
This year’s broader conference theme is “Deploying Artificial Intelligence in the Fight Against Corruption in Commonwealth Africa.”
The conference brings together heads of anti-corruption agencies across Commonwealth countries in Africa to share best practices, strengthen institutional integrity, and deepen collaboration in the fight against corruption.
It is being hosted by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (CONAC) of Cameroon.
The Commission, established in 2006, is an independent public institution mandated to prevent, detect, and combat corruption through education, investigation, and public awareness campaigns. Based in Yaoundé, CONAC leads national efforts to promote integrity across public institutions, including education and the civil service.
