Northern Business Fair returns in July

For many businesses, finding customers is one of the biggest obstacles to growth. Yet for some exhibitors at previous editions of the Northern Business Fair, the challenge was not attracting customers but keeping pace with demand, with products selling out before the event ended.

Those success stories are helping to build excitement ahead of the Northern Business Fair 2026, which is expected to once again connect businesses with consumers, investors and new market opportunities across Northern Ghana.

Scheduled for July 25 and 26, 2026, at Jubilee Park in Tamale, the two-day event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. During that period, the venue will be transformed into a bustling commercial centre where businesses from across the northern sector and beyond will showcase their products and services to thousands of prospective customers, partners and investors.

From locally processed foods and agricultural produce to fashion, cosmetics, handicrafts, technology solutions, financial services and household products, exhibitors will have the opportunity to place their brands directly before a diverse and engaged audience.

The fair will feature vibrant exhibition stands, live product demonstrations and promotional activities, giving visitors the chance to experience products first-hand while interacting directly with business owners and industry players.

Beyond serving as a marketplace, the Northern Business Fair offers entrepreneurs and small businesses a valuable platform to strengthen brand visibility, test new products, gather customer feedback and build relationships that can drive long-term growth.

For many businesses that struggle to reach large audiences, the event presents a rare opportunity to market their products and services to a concentrated pool of consumers under one roof, creating the potential for new sales, partnerships and business expansion.

The fair also offers significant value to consumers, providing an opportunity to discover innovative Made-in-Ghana products, compare offerings from different businesses and take advantage of promotional deals often available only at exhibition events. It is expected to create a dynamic environment where commerce, networking and innovation converge.

Beyond individual business success, the event contributes to broader economic growth by promoting entrepreneurship, supporting local production and fostering collaboration among businesses. It also serves as a meeting point for entrepreneurs, investors, corporate organisations and development partners seeking to identify emerging opportunities within Northern Ghana.

This year’s edition is sponsored by Ecobank and the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), with Channel One TV and Citi FM driving extensive media coverage and public engagement. Their involvement is expected to enhance the visibility of participating businesses and extend the fair’s reach to audiences across the country.

As preparations gather pace, businesses are being encouraged to secure exhibition spaces and take advantage of the platform to showcase their products and services. Interested companies can register by calling 0205973973.

With hundreds of exhibitors and visitors expected at Jubilee Park in Tamale on July 25 and 26, the Northern Business Fair 2026 is shaping up to be more than just an exhibition. It promises to be a marketplace of opportunity where businesses gain exposure, consumers discover quality local products and entrepreneurs turn connections into growth.
