The Savannah Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, popularly known as Prof. Kalimonia, has expressed confidence that the party’s constituency elections across the region will be conducted peacefully.
According to him, the party is hopeful that the elections will proceed smoothly and conclude without any incidents. He attributed the prevailing calm in the Savannah Region to effective leadership and the commitment of party members to maintaining peace throughout the internal electoral process.
Prof. Kalimonia noted that the Savannah Region has remained relatively peaceful compared to some other regions, describing this as a reflection of the party’s leadership and the cooperation of its members.
He further explained that considerable attention was given to the polling station and electoral area elections, which played a crucial role in compiling the album register for the various constituencies.
“When you are united and you know your job, you will be able to talk to your people and let them know what is right and what we are fighting for. We are fighting for only one symbol, and that is the NPP. In 2028, we are coming.”
