A National Chairman aspirant of the governing New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Stephen Asamoah-Boateng says he has a clear-cut plan to help the NPP win the 2024 polls.

Mr. Asamoah-Boateng says he will make the NPP an election-winning machine that will be in a position to be victorious in all elections, even after the 2024 polls.

Speaking at the launch of his campaign in Accra, Stephen Asamoah-Boateng said, with him as National Chairman, the NPP is capable of emerging victorious.

“I have pondered and searched my heart and I have come to the strong belief that, I am up and ready to serve you as the national chairman of the NPP. I have what it takes to form a formidable team. Our party is at a crossroads currently and together, we need to make a concerted effort to make history in 2024 and what has never happened before in the fourth republic. My vision is to build a solid team of party executive members.”

Some other party members who have declared their intent to vie for the National Chairmanship position include Prof. Ameyaw Akumfi, Abankwah Yeboah, Stephen Ayesu Ntim and Robert Kutin Jnr.

The NPP  has set July 14 to July 16, 2022, to hold its national elections ahead of the 2024 elections.

A one-time National Campaign Manager of the NPP, Peter Mac Manu, has said the party has the right men with the right sense of purpose to win the 2024 general elections.

He has thus called for unity in the party to break the eight.

“We have a great task ahead of us, but we will do it because we have what it takes to win an election. We have the men and women to do the job. We have the duty of purpose and the development agenda that President Nana Addo and his government are bequeathing to the nation from social infrastructure etc. So going into 2024, I am confident that NPP will move Ghana forward.”
