Elegant Health Ltd, a rapidly growing health and beauty company in Ghana, has struck a strategic partnership with the Association of Medicine Counter Assistants Ghana (AMCAG) to organise the maiden edition of the Medicine Counter Assistants Awards (MCAA).
The collaboration between Elegant Health and AMCAG, the mother body of MCAs in Ghana, marks a significant step in advancing the MCA Awards 2025.
Subsequently, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between the two entities to formalise the partnership.
The official signing of the MOU was done on June 9, 2025, by Wendy Brew Davies, National Secretary of AMCAG, representing the association and Dora Debra, CEO of Elegant Health Ltd.
Among other things, the MOU establishes the ground rules for both parties to engage effectively for the betterment of the 2025 edition of the awards.
Further, Elegant Health, by the ordinary understanding of the terms of the MOU, is expected to provide the resources needed for the smooth organisation of the MCA Awards 2025.
AMCAG, on the other hand, stands as the technical partner who wields the industry know-how essential for making the MCA Awards a credible and trusted brand.
A nine-member governing board comprising five representatives from Elegant Health and four persons drawn from AMCAG has since been constituted.
For the avoidance of doubt, AMCAG is represented on the governing board by Wendy Brew Davies, National Secretary, Abrah Owusu Prince, Greater Accra President, Constance Nana Yaa Odura Ofosu, National P.R.O., and Hawa Quao Ansah as an ex-officio member.
Dora Debra, CEO of Elegant Health, leads the team from Elegant Health and is flanked by
Mark Owusu Anim, Operations Manager, Ebow Hagan (Supa), Media & Publicity, Abass Alhassan, Technical Advisor, and Mrs Sarah Amoako Brobbey, Technical Advisor.
The governing board is tasked with the responsibility of planning, coordinating, and executing the MCA Awards 2025.
According to Dora Debra, CEO of Elegant Health and Team Lead of the MCA Awards 2025, the MCA Awards will be a game-changer in the health and medical industry in Ghana.
Wendy Brew Davies, on her part, expressed delight in the association’s involvement in this historic event, which seeks to lift the lot of MCAs in their personal and professional endeavours.
The Medicine Counter Assistants Awards are intended to celebrate medicine counter assistants and highlight their unsung contributions to the healthcare delivery system in Ghana.
This year’s event is under the theme: “Projecting the role of MCAs in healthcare delivery”.
The 2025 Medicine Counter Assistants Awards is brought to you by Elegant Health Ltd in partnership with the Association of Medicine Counter Assistants Ghana (AMCAG).
