At least, four persons are battling for their lives after a gas explosion opposite the Sanbra Hotel at Adum in the Kumasi Metropolis.
The incident occurred around 5:50am on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, when a food vendor and her workers were preparing meals for sale.
According to eyewitnesses, they heard a loud blast and rushed to the scene, where they found four people badly injured.
The victims were quickly rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
The Ghana National Fire Service has since launched an investigation into the incident.
