The Ministry of Transport, in collaboration with Digital Eye, is set to host the Ghana Transport and Logistics Fair 2025, marking the first-ever event of its kind in the country and the West African sub-region.

Scheduled for October 22-24, 2025, at the World Trade Centre in Accra, this historic event promises to reshape the future of Ghana’s transport sector with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and investment.

Under the theme of “Driving Innovation, Enhancing Connectivity, and Empowering Investment,” the fair will feature three transformative days of exhibitions, panel discussions, and policy dialogues.

Attendees will be introduced to cutting-edge technologies that are defining the future of mobility. From electric vehicles (EVs) and green transport solutions to state-of-the-art logistics technologies, the fair will highlight the latest advancements in the transport sector.

Presidential Support and Strategic Importance

His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama is expected to officially open the event, underscoring its significance as part of Ghana’s broader commitment to aligning its transport policies with global trends in sustainability and economic competitiveness.

The event will also serve as a platform to address key challenges and opportunities in the transport and logistics industries, with a focus on strengthening the country’s infrastructure and enhancing public services.

A Unified Effort Across the Sector

All agencies under the Ministry of Transport will participate, with exhibition stands offering insights into various aspects of the transport ecosystem, including vehicle registration, aviation, port innovations, and public transport reforms. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage directly with sector leaders, explore new policy initiatives, and learn about the future of transportation services in Ghana.

In a bid to foster inclusivity and collaboration, the fair will also open its doors to various stakeholders, ranging from Okada associations and the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to logistics companies, students, and entrepreneurs. This collaborative approach aims to bridge the gap between industry professionals and the public, enabling a fruitful exchange of ideas and laying the groundwork for future partnerships.

A Platform for Dialogue and Investment

In addition to the exhibits, the fair will feature a series of policy dialogues, creating a forum for discussing forward-thinking strategies aimed at revolutionising the sector.

Key issues such as regulatory frameworks, sustainable development goals, and investment opportunities will be explored, with a view to positioning Ghana as a regional leader in transport and logistics.

The event also provides an important opportunity for investors to connect with key players in the transport and logistics sectors, facilitating investment and fostering growth in a rapidly developing market.

Invitation to Participate

The Ministry of Transport encourages the media, business community, and the general public to attend this landmark event.

As Ghana seeks to modernise its transport infrastructure and foster a more connected, sustainable, and investment-ready sector, the Ghana Transport and Logistics Fair 2025 promises to be a pivotal moment in the country’s journey toward a future of smarter, greener, and more efficient transport solutions.
