Nestlé Ghana Limited has extended its appreciation to loyal consumers nationwide as it climaxed the second edition of the NIDO Obaatanpa Mo Promotion in Accra.

This was a campaign to celebrate Ghanaian mothers and families for their enduring trust in the NIDO brand.

The 2025 edition, which ran between May and July, drew strong participation, recording over 99,000 entries from across the country.

More than 30,000 consumers benefited from instant prizes in a series of regional mini draws which deepened public engagement with the brand.

At the grand finale, Nestlé Ghana rewarded its top participants with an array of prizes including refrigerators, traditional Kente cloths, GH₵5,000 cash prizes and luxury weekend getaways to the Safari Valley Resort, complete with a GH₵5,000 stipend for each winner.

Speaking at the event, the Business Executive Officer for Dairy – Central and West Africa Region, hailed the impressive turnout, saying it is an evidence of the brand’s strong bond with Ghanaian households.

“The level of participation shows how deeply NIDO connects with families across Ghana — a bond built on trust, care, and quality,” she remarked.

Myron Otoo, Category Manager for Beverages and Dairy at Nestlé Ghana, said the promotion is more than a marketing initiative because it is a tribute to mothers who nurture the next generation.

“Through the NIDO Obaatanpa Mo Promotion, we celebrate mothers whose strength, love, and commitment continue to inspire us,” he said.

Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana, Salomé Azevedo, stressed that the company’s purpose extends beyond providing nutritious products to building shared value with the communities it serves.

“This campaign goes beyond consumer engagement; it is about creating shared experiences and showing appreciation to those who have made NIDO a household name. Our success is rooted in the people we serve every day,” she noted.

Nestlé Ghana also extended gratitude to its partners for ensuring the integrity and success of the nationwide campaign.

The NIDO Obaatanpa Mo Promotion remains one of the company’s flagship consumer loyalty initiatives, reflecting Nestlé’s long-standing commitment to nourishing generations and rewarding trust in Ghana’s growing consumer market.
