In a move aimed at strengthening its footprint in Ghana’s automobile market and providing transport solutions tailored to local business needs, Zonda Tec Ghana Limited, in partnership with Forland, has unveiled the new Forland L5 light-duty truck at an event in Tema dubbed “Drive and Unveil.”
The Forland L5 is designed for Ghana’s growing logistics and distribution market, combining durability, fuel efficiency, and affordability to meet the needs of small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) seeking to cut transport costs and improve operational efficiency.

Speaking at the launch, Marketing Director of Zonda Tec Ghana Ltd, Jelly Bai, said the company remains committed to offering reliable vehicles backed by strong after-sales support.
“We introduced the Forland L5 to give our clients a durable, quality vehicle that supports their businesses. We’re also rolling out promotional packages to make ownership more accessible,” she said.

The new model, which comes with comprehensive maintenance and service packages, is expected to minimise downtime and extend vehicle lifespan, ensuring higher productivity for fleet operators.
West Africa Regional Manager for Forland, Joel Chen ,highlighted the company’s research-driven approach to product design, saying the new truck was built specifically for Ghana’s road and market conditions.
“Our focus is on light and medium-duty trucks, including tippers. The Forland L5 is made for Ghana and developed after extensive market research on fuel efficiency, endurance, and performance,” he explained.

The launch, which drew clients and distributors from across the country, underscores Forland’s renewed commitment to expanding its West African presence, with Ghana serving as a key strategic hub for its light-duty segment.
