Growth Mindset Development (GMD) Foundation, led by Nana Yaa Amankwah, lit up Afienya Basic A School with an exciting and impactful STEM outreach programme aimed at sparking curiosity and empowering the next generation of innovators. The event brought together young learners and industry experts to explore the transformative possibilities within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The outreach featured a dynamic collaboration with the ASHRAE Ghana Chapter, represented by a talented team of engineering students from the Accra Technical University. Led by Patricia Kwakye-Boateng, an executive of ASHRAE, the team engaged students with hands-on demonstrations in HVACR systems. Their interactive experiments captivated the learners, offering them a practical glimpse into real-world engineering.
Adding to the excitement, AI specialist Obed Oduro Adjei delivered an insightful session on Artificial Intelligence. He demonstrated how AI can enhance understanding of academic concepts and revolutionise the future of education. His presentation left students inspired and eager to explore the world of intelligent technologies.
