Former Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, has called on whoever emerges as the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate to unite the party by fully embracing all other contenders and their supporters.
Speaking on the need for party unity ahead of the 2028 general election at the peace pact signing ceremony for the five presidential aspirants in Accra on Thursday, January 22, she stressed that victory would require collective effort and inclusiveness at every level of the campaign.
Frema Osei-Opare noted that unity within the party will be critical in mobilising grassroots support and strengthening the NPP’s chances in the next elections.
She urged party leaders and supporters to prioritise cohesion and collective purpose, emphasising that inclusiveness remains key to securing electoral success in 2028.
“We need all hands on deck to win 2028. I urge whoever emerges victorious to embrace all other contestants and their supporters in a meaningful way by making them integral parts of the campaign at all levels,” she said.
