Voting has concluded in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries, as delegates nationwide cast their ballots to select the party’s flagbearer for the upcoming general elections.
Over 211,000 delegates participated in the election, which was held at 333 polling centres across all 275 constituencies.
The exercise was conducted under tight security and closely supervised by party officials to ensure a smooth process.
Counting and collation of ballots are now underway in multiple constituencies, with early results beginning to emerge from some regions. Party leadership has pledged to maintain transparency and integrity as the election process continues.
