An unidentified body with severed parts has been discovered between Eyisam and Ekumfi Techiman in the Central Region.

The discovery was reported around 6:25 a.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, after local authorities were alerted to the incident.

Assemblyman for the Obontser Electoral Area, Kobina Abdul Razak, who confirmed the development to Citi News, said the condition of the remains made identification impossible at the scene.

The body has since been deposited at the Cape Coast morgue.

Residents and the general public are being urged to check on relatives and report any missing persons to assist with identification.
