Litina Travel and Tours, a leading travel firm will today launch a new initiative aimed at turning the FIFA World Cup into a platform for Ghanaian businesses to expand globally.
The launch event will be held at the Alisa Hotel and will be attended by the Minister of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare.
The initiative, known as the “Litina 2-in-1 Experience,” combines travel to the World Cup with an international business exhibition designed to connect Ghanaian brands with global consumers and investors.

As part of the package, a two-day exhibition titled the “Made in Ghana: FIFA World Cup 2026 Expo” will take place from June 22 to 23, 2026, at the Envision Hotel & Conference Centre in the United States.
The expo is expected to bring together Ghanaian supporters, diaspora communities, tourists, and international business leaders attending the World Cup in North America, creating a unique opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products.
Organisers say the concept shifts the traditional approach to market expansion by bringing global buyers to one location during one of the world’s most-watched sporting events, rather than having Ghanaian businesses search for markets abroad.
The exhibition is open to corporate organisations, small and medium enterprises, and entrepreneurs across various sectors. Products to be showcased will include processed foods and beverages, chocolate and cocoa products, fashion and textiles, African fabrics and handicrafts, cosmetics, spices, agricultural products, as well as real estate and investment services.
Chief Executive Officer of Litina Travel and Tours, Ernestina Sefaa Abroquah, said the idea is to ensure Ghana’s participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup goes beyond football.
According to her, the global tournament offers a strong platform for Ghanaian businesses to promote “Made in Ghana” brands to the diaspora and international buyers while supporting the national team.
“The World Cup attracts millions of people from across the globe. We want Ghanaian businesses to take advantage of this moment not only to support the Black Stars but also to introduce their products to new international markets,” she said.
She added that the initiative is designed to position Ghanaian entrepreneurs at the centre of business networking, trade engagements, and investment opportunities that come with major global sporting events.
Under the Litina 2-in-1 Experience, participating businesses will receive exhibition space at the expo, direct access to diaspora consumers, opportunities to engage international distributors and investors, increased brand visibility, and access to structured networking sessions.
The travel package also includes visa support, official match tickets for Ghana’s group-stage matches, return charter flights, accommodation, travel insurance, and access to curated business networking sessions.
