The Phase Two of the 24-Hour Economy Pilot Program in the Petroleum Downstream industry has been launched JP Spintex Service Station. The launch underscores the company’s commitment to supporting the government’s national reset agenda through enhanced productivity, job creation, and extended operational hours in the fuel retail value chain.

The event, held under the theme “Promoting the 24-Hour Economy Program in the Downstream Petroleum Value Chain,” brought together the Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Chief Executive Officers of key industry players, representatives from security agencies, the Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD), the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC), media partners, and other stakeholders.

In his welcome address, the Chief Business Officer of JP Trustees, Joshua Larbi highlighted the strategic importance of the initiative:

“Today marks a pivotal moment in our industry as we formally launch Phase Two of the 24-Hour Economy Pilot Program within the Petroleum Downstream sector. Our theme, ‘Promoting the 24-Hour Economy Program in the Downstream Petroleum Value Chain,’ represents a commitment to the national reset agenda aimed at boosting productivity and job creation. By extending our operations, we are fueling the engines of commerce, logistics, and security that will drive Ghana toward a more resilient and export-led economy.”

The Chief Business Officer emphasized that the success of the 24-hour economy hinges on infrastructure readiness and stringent safety standards. He expressed gratitude to the NPA for its regulatory guidance and to industry partners for their collaborative vision.

JP Trustees reiterated its customer-centric approach through its 7-Point Customer Value Proposition, which includes quality fuel with better mileage, fuel delivery services, complete auto-care solutions, non-fuel retail offerings for lifestyle convenience, strong Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) commitment, exceptional customer service, and the JP Market Place Mobile App.

The company’s premium fuels, enhanced with advanced German Additive Technology, deliver improved engine performance, better mileage, and long-term cost savings for customers. In addition to core fuel services, JP Spintex offers integrated lifestyle conveniences such as food courts (including Kanzo Republic), washing bays, pharmacy services, and seamless digital transactions via the JP Market Place Mobile App.

The launch event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by direct engagement with commercial drivers and other key users of the facility. The pilot phase will focus on testing operational models, identifying gaps, and ensuring that extended hours enhance productivity without compromising safety.
