A tragic motorbike accident has claimed the life of a female nurse stationed at the Kusali CHPS Compound in the Sissala West District of the Upper West Region while she was reportedly carrying out her official duties.
The deceased, identified as Nafisah Adama, is said to have been involved in the fatal accident while returning from the Gwollu Health Centre, where she had gone to pick up medicines for the CHPS compound where she worked.
According to reports, Madam Nafisah collided with a tricycle during the journey back to the facility, leading to her untimely death.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are still unclear, although the incident has since thrown colleagues, residents and members of the health community into shock and mourning.
Madam Nafisah was reportedly known for her dedication to duty and commitment to providing healthcare services to people within the community.
Her death has sparked sadness among residents in the area, many of whom have described the incident as a painful loss not only to her family but also to the healthcare system in the district.
