The Northern Regional Minister, Ali Adolf John, has pledged the full support of the Northern Regional Coordinating Council for the 2026 Northern Business Fair, organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM.
He described the initiative as a strategic platform for promoting trade, investment, entrepreneurship, and the economic potential of Northern Ghana.
Speaking during a courtesy call on him by a delegation from Channel One TV and Citi FM ahead of the 2026 edition of the fair, he commended the organisers for sustaining the initiative, noting that the Northern Business Fair has become an important vehicle for showcasing locally made products, connecting businesses to new markets, and attracting investment to the region.
He expressed the Regional Coordinating Council’s commitment to partnering with the organisers to ensure the success of the event and encouraged businesses, investors, and development partners to participate.
“Let me assure you that the people of the Northern Region will not disappoint you. We have a lot of potential. You know very well that we are into agriculture. Also, our culture, the smock we produce here as well as the fabric, we will be able to showcase it very well,” he stressed.
The Minister also announced that he would officially open the 2026 Northern Business Fair, reaffirming the Regional Coordinating Council’s commitment to initiatives that drive economic growth and create opportunities for businesses across Northern Ghana.
He added that the fair aligns with the government’s broader agenda of promoting regional economic development and empowering local enterprises to compete in both national and international markets.
The Northern Business Fair 2026 will feature businesses showcasing products and services across sectors including agriculture, food processing, fashion, cosmetics, technology, financial services, handicrafts, and household products.
Organisers say the event will provide a platform for businesses to connect with consumers, investors, and potential partners while promoting entrepreneurship and economic growth in Northern Ghana.
The fair is powered by Channel One TV with support from Citi FM and sponsored by Ecobank, the National Petroleum Authority, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), and Northshore Apparel Ghana Ltd.
