The government says measures are being put in place to ensure constant water supply to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and other major health facilities in the country.
According to a Deputy Minister for Water and Sanitation, Patrick Boamah, the Ministry has been assessing the water situation at some selected hospitals in Accra following the directives issued by the President on the management of the coronavirus pandemic. This is to ensure health facilities are ready to contain the spread of the disease.
