The Chief Business Officer for AT, Ethel Anamoo, has called for greater female representation in traditionally male-dominated roles such as sales and marketing.
At the just ended National Sales Leaders Conference held at the National Conference in Accra. which focused on the evolution of sales and marketing, Mrs. Anamoo emphasized the importance of women stepping into leadership positions and breaking into sectors where they have historically been underrepresented.
“Sales and marketing have long been seen as fields best suited to men, particularly because these professions were often linked to the role of the primary breadwinner,” Anamoo explained during the panel discussion.
“However, the landscape has changed. Women are not just participating; they are leading, innovating, and reshaping the industry with their unique perspectives and skills.”
The transformation of sales and marketing over the past few decades reflects a broader societal shift. What was once considered a male stronghold has now become a space where women are emerging as key drivers of success.
