The Church of Pentecost has officially launched its new Weija Area with a special inauguration and welcome service for Apostle Isaac Amartey Anim, his wife Mrs. Joyce Anim, and their family.
The event was held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Mandela Central in the New Weija District. It brought together ministers, members, and invited guests from various parts of the country.
The service started at 2:00 PM and was officiated by Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, Area Head of Tema, with Apostle James Kwabena Asare, Kasoa Area Head, as conductor.
The programme was filled with vibrant praise and worship, scripture readings, and a sermon by Apostle Kotei Djani. Preaching from Psalm 100 and John 6, he encouraged believers to put their full trust in God, remain faithful through trials, and commit themselves completely to God’s service.
He reminded the congregation that God’s love never fails and that those who depend on Him will always be rewarded.
The ceremony also featured the reading of Apostle Isaac Amartey Anim’s profile, highlighting his 26 years of ministry, theological education, and various leadership roles across the country. His past stations include Kete Krachi, Techiman, Kasoa, Achimota, and most recently, Atebubu where he served as Area Head.
Apostle Anim was called into full-time ministry in 1999 and rose through the ranks to become an Apostle in 2022. He is married to Mrs. Joyce Anim, and together they have six children—three biological and three adopted.
The inauguration marks a new chapter in the Church’s expansion efforts, strengthening its mission and pastoral work in the Weija area and beyond.
