Northshore Apparel Ghana Limited has announced plans to recruit persons with disabilities as part of efforts to promote inclusive employment and strengthen its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Speaking at the 2026 Northern Business Fair organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM on Saturday, July 25, the General Manager of Northshore Apparel, Anil Kumar, said the company’s operations would extend beyond commercial activities to supporting broader development efforts, including agriculture and other sectors.

He said the company is committed to providing employment opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their educational qualifications.

“Not only on the business front, even in social responsibility, we are also extending our support to all the sectors in development, including agriculture and other supporting sectors.

“We are also recruiting medically challenged people. We don’t look at any kind of educational qualification; it is from zero to the highest level,” he said.

The company indicated that the recruitment programme is expected to commence next month.

Mr Kumar also described the Northern Business Fair as a valuable platform for businesses to showcase their products, engage potential customers and build partnerships.

“The Northern Business Fair 2026 has given us a very big opportunity to explore ourselves and exhibit our products so that people will know what we are going to do, how we are going to do it, and the level at which we are going to operate,” he said.

He expressed appreciation to Channel One TV, Citi FM and the organisers for creating an avenue that allows businesses to connect with the public, promote their brands and explore new opportunities.

The Northern Business Fair continues to bring together businesses, entrepreneurs and investors from across Ghana to showcase products and services, establish partnerships and promote economic growth in Northern Ghana.

The fair is powered by Channel One TV with support from Citi FM and sponsored by Ecobank, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), and Northshore Apparel Ghana Ltd.
