The funeral follows a decisive ruling by the Accra High Court, which allowed the burial to proceed after a family dispute failed to raise the GH₵2 million required to maintain an injunction blocking the release of the body. With the payment unmet, Transitions Funeral Home was directed to continue with funeral arrangements.
