Former Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Inusah Fuseini, has praised the Northern Business Fair for creating a platform for entrepreneurs and technical institutions to showcase their innovations and products.
He said the initiative had provided an important avenue for businesses and skills training institutions in the Northern Region to demonstrate their capabilities and attract attention to their work.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 2026 Northern Business Fair, organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM in Tamale on Sunday, July 26, Fuseini expressed satisfaction with the opportunity provided for entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services.
“I am gladdened that a forum like this has been created for us as entrepreneurs to exhibit what we have,” he said.
He expressed excitement about the participation of Dabokpa Technical Institute, which showcased various innovations at the fair.
According to him, the institution’s display demonstrated the critical role of technical and vocational education in driving innovation and solving practical challenges in society.
“I’m particularly gladdened that Dabokpa Technical Institute has taken its pride of place to show, and I agree with the speaker that what you have done here cannot be done by some universities,” he added.
He urged stakeholders to continue supporting platforms that promote entrepreneurship and technical skills, stressing that such initiatives were critical to unlocking opportunities for young people and strengthening local industries.
